Reference Medicine Scientist Ranked Among Top 2% of Globally Cited Researchers by Elsevier

Oct 22, 2025

Reference Medicine is proud to announce that Dr. Zoran Gatalica has been named to Elsevier’s 2025 list of the world’s most-cited scientists, placing him among the top 2% of researchers globally.

Elsevier’s ranking is derived from the top 100,000 scientists by composite citation score (with and without self-citations), or those within the top 2% of their specific field. The publicly available database provides standardized metrics, including citation counts, h-index, co-authorship–adjusted indices, authorship position, and a composite c-score.

“We are incredibly grateful to have such remarkable scientific talent on our team,” said Inga Rose, CEO of Reference Medicine. “Being recognized among the top two percent of globally cited scientists underscores Dr. Gatalica’s impact on the field and reflects the dedication to scientific rigor and innovation that defines our company.”
