[May 28, 2026 – Phoenix, AZ] Reference Medicine, a Phoenix-based oncology specimen procurement partner serving biopharma and diagnostic product developers, has been named a finalist in the small company (6-20 employees) category in the eighth annual Small Business Awards by the Phoenix Business Journal.
Ten finalists were selected from a pool of nominated businesses by a panel of judges – who are previous Small Business Award winners – based on various criteria including revenue growth, historical achievements, contributions to their industry and the local economy, and potential to shape the Phoenix business community. Three Small Business Awards winners — one from each category — will be announced during the 2026 Small Business Awards ceremony, to be held on Thursday, July 16.
“We’re incredibly honored to be recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal,” said Inga Rose, Founder and CEO of Reference Medicine. “Our selection as a finalist reflects the passion, resilience, and heart of our entire team. Since day one, our mission has been to make biospecimen procurement easier for researchers while never losing sight of the patient stories behind every sample. To see that work recognized alongside so many inspiring Phoenix businesses is deeply meaningful.”
